Sun Island Hotel & Spa Legian GSA Awarded 2nd Runner Up at the 2016 Indonesia’s Receptionist of the Year

Bali, November 7, 2016. After being awarded the 2nd runner up at the 2016 Bali’s Receptionist of the Year in October, Ida Ayu Indrawati Widiadnyani or best known by her peers as Ade, once again scored another big achievement. On November 5, the Hotel Front Liners Association awarded the GSA at Sun Island Hotel & Spa Legian the 2nd runner up at the 2016 Indonesia’s Receptionist of the Year.

Last weekend, Ade embarked to Jakarta to represent Bali in the 2016 Indonesia’s Receptionist of the Year. The national-scaled event that took place in Menara Peninsula Hotel, Jakarta, was participated by all of the winners from the provincial level’s contests, representing hotels and resorts from national and international chains. Each of the contestants had to face three challenges in the contest: debating, role-playing, and interviews. After a long process of the competition, the scores were totaled, and the judges then announced the winners. Ade who represents Sun Island Hotel & Spa Legian won the 2nd runner up position, alongside the contestants from InterContinental MidPlaza Jakarta and Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, the winner and 1st runner up respectively.
